Squirrel Club Meeting: Minutes 8.11

Well, despite twitter crashing halfway through our meeting, I feel we yet again had another great meeting. We had a potluck snack, so everyone brought their favorite dog treats. Mandy made me some vegetarian snacks to bring, but seeing as we are all carnivores, they weren't too popular. Some tofu thing. But other dogs brought some great meatball snacks, and there were a lot of Snasages. There were some raw hides, but those went pretty quickly.

After we did some new introductions to some new members, we shared some squirrel stories from the past week. There were some pretty crazy ones, I will leave it at that. The main thing we discussed at our Squirrel Club was the looming threat of squirrels. Humans may fear terrorists and weapons of mass destruction, but the real threat here is SQUIRRELS. Some of our members brought some startling new photos of some squirrel training camps that have caused quite a stir in the dog community. I have posted a few of the photos that were presented in our meeting. They are quite unsettling.

So just be on the look out if you see any of these squirrels behaving strange or holding guns. You should probably notify the humans if you see them holding guns, actually. Anyway, we are starting up a squirrel club defense league, kind of like the Order of the Phoenix from Harry Potter. We are currently looking for a cool name for this league. Leave a comment or note if you have any suggestions.

Cheers everyone! I need to take a nap since we just got back from a long walk.

  1. Still tracking this theme... You all sound like our kind of dogs!!! Were you at last week's DUDE pawpawty# on Twitter? My son, BG is the one that brought the canvas bag of ground squirrels for that pawty.
